The Laboratory

The Signal and Information Processing Laboratory focusses on research and education in the following areas:

• Information theory, error correcting codes, and their application in communication systems
• Extracting information from signals in communications, acoustics, and other application areas
• Signal processing with analog circuits

Prof. Lapidoth's group is focussed on information theory.

Prof. Loeliger's group is active in all three areas.
